LIL’ BUMPERS YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CLASS
Lil’ Bumpers is a skill development program designed to teach the fundamentals of volleyball to beginners ages 5-12. The curriculum focuses on building essential skills like passing, setting, hitting, and serving, while fostering teamwork and passion for the game. Our experienced coaches create a fun, encouraging environment that boosts player confidence as they work through challenging drills and activities. The program is designed to prepare young athletes for future league play, teaching the importance of dedication and teamwork on and off the court.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
CLASS INFORMATION
- Program is designed for ages 5 – 12.
- Open to boys and girls.
- The class curriculum takes the participants through 8 weeks of skill building activities.
- Classes are 50 minutes long.
- Classes are once per week on Mondays & Tuesdays.

CLASS LEVELS & DESCRIPTIONS
Setters: (Boys & Girls; Ages 5-6)
This class is a fun introduction to cheerleading for children 4-6 years of age. The cheerleaders will learn the basic elements of cheerleading such as motions, jumps, the count and simple cheers. They will learn a few side-line cheers throughout the season. Each week players should expect to learn new tumbling and cheerleading skills while reviewing the previously learned skills. The player will also learn a dance/cheer routine to be performed at the end of the season.
Servers: (Boys & Girls; Ages 7-8)
This class is designed to teach new volleyball skills in a fun environment for 7-8 year olds. While teaching these new skills, the players will learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and games to show off their new skills in volleyball. At the end of each class, coaches will run through a game for players to showcase their new skills learned that day.
Spikers: (Boys & Girls; Ages 9-12)
This class is designed to teach the players the fundamentals of volleyball in an exciting and fun class environment for 9-12 year olds. Players will showcase their skills along with learning the principles of teamwork and sportsmanship. After every skill training, coaches will run a game for players to show their skills learned.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Registration
- No spaces in any class are guaranteed without payment, as full payments are due at the time of registration. All registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A non-refundable annual program enrollment fee of $10 is required for all participants registering for internal programs.
- Minimum of three children per class. If fewer than three are signed up after the third week, you will be required to choose another time or a refund if the class is canceled.
- Join at any time – classes are always prorated.
Trial Classes
- All first-time trial classes are free of charge.
- A Field House waiver must be completed before stepping onto the field.
- Customers may only do trials in classes that have space available.

Refund Policy
- Refunds will ONLY be given if a class has been canceled.
- Refunds are not issued due to missed classes. If a child stops coming, a credit to the HFH may be issued, pending approval.
WHAT TO BRING
- Athletic attire/shoes, and a reusable water bottle
- Knee pads are recommended, but not required
PROGRAM POLICIES
Parents and Guardians
- Classes are not drop-off, a parent/guardian must be on-site during the class. For children under 4, parents may be permitted on the field or court with their child.
Behavior
- Dangerous, disruptive, or disrespectful behaviors will be dealt with case-by-case and could result in the loss of the privilege to participate. No refunds or credits will be issued if your child cannot participate due to negative behaviors.
Transfers
- Transfers within the same age group are permitted at any point in the session. All class transfers are dependent upon space availability.
Make-Up Classes
- Make-ups are done on a space-available basis. Make-ups do not carry over into the next session. No refunds will be given for missed classes.
