Each session zeroes in on a key area of the game—Passing, Serving, Setting, and Hitting—allowing participants to focus on specific techniques or join all sessions for a complete, high-impact training experience. Whether you’re fine-tuning your serve or powering up your attack, our skills clinic will help you grow as a player, boost your confidence, and deepen your understanding of the game.   • Classes are once per week and offered on Thursdays (7:30P) or Sundays (4:00P)

YOUR COACHES

Coach Will Hill

Coach Hill is the former head coach of Goretti high school’s Varsity Volleyball team. He has spent the last 13 yrs coaching volleyball and training players. He is a current Club coach of both 15u national teams and 16 u travel teams .
Coach Hill says, “I look to help kids understand how to play the game and develop kids into better volleyball players.  Having fun is a big part of why I keep coaching!”

CLINIC DESCRIPTION

Volleyball Skills Clinic

Refine your skills and elevate your game with our Volleyball Skills Clinics, designed for intermediate to advanced players. Each session focuses on key areas to help athletes deepen their understanding of the game and build on their solid foundation.

Clinic Highlights:

  • Passing: Focus on proper body positioning, platform technique, footwork, and reading the ball.
  • Serving: Serving mechanics, including toss, contact point, and follow-through.
  • Setting: Hand placement, footwork, and consistent ball control. Players will practice setting from various angles and distances.
  • Hitting: Focus would be on approach technique, arm swing, timing, and ball contact.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration
  • No spaces in any class are guaranteed without payment, as full payments are due at the time of registration. All registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • A non-refundable annual program enrollment fee of $10 is required for all participants registering for internal programs.
  • Minimum of three children per class. If fewer than three are signed up after the third week, you will be required to choose another time or a refund if the class is canceled.
Refund Policy
  • Refunds will ONLY be given if a class has been canceled.
  • Refunds are not issued due to missed classes. If a child stops coming, a credit to the HFH may be issued, pending approval.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Participants should wear athletic attire
  • Bring a refillable water bottle 

PROGRAM POLICIES

Behavior
  • Dangerous, disruptive, or disrespectful behaviors will be dealt with case-by-case and could result in the loss of the privilege to participate. No refunds or credits will be issued if your child cannot participate due to negative behaviors.
Make-up Clinics
  • Make-ups are done on a space-available basis. Make-ups do not carry over into the next session. No refunds will be given for missed clinics.
